This website (erzse.com) is operated by Daniel Erzse, a natural person residing in Oradea, Bihor County, Romania. Daniel Erzse is the sole data controller for this site.

What data we collect

When you accept cookies, we use the following analytics services:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — collects usage data including your IP address (truncated/anonymized by Google), pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location derived from IP. Google may set cookies (_ga, _gid, etc.). Google's privacy policy.
• Umami Analytics — self-hosted at analytics.erzse.com. Collects aggregated page views, referrer URL, and browser type. IP addresses are processed server-side to generate anonymous session hashes but are not stored in raw form. No cookies are set. Because Umami is self-hosted, Daniel Erzse is both the controller and processor.

Cookies

We only load analytics after you explicitly consent via the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics are loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Two items are stored in your browser's localStorage (which are not cookies but technically similar):

• erzse-consent — your consent choice (accepted/declined)
• erzse-theme — your light/dark mode preference

You can change your consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of the main page.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to processing and withdraw consent at any time (Cookie settings link or browser localStorage)
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP)

Data retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default (configurable in GA4). Umami data is retained indefinitely but contains only aggregated, non-identifiable information. No personally identifiable records are kept.
